ClassStamp

Privacy policy

Last updated November 7, 2026. ClassStamp is made by Taylor O'Neal, Purafield Studio, Austin, Texas ("we"). Contact: purafieldstudio@gmail.com.

The short version

ClassStamp listens to a yoga class on your iPhone and turns it into a list of poses. The audio and the words are processed on your phone and are never saved, uploaded or sent to us. ClassStamp has no server, no accounts and no analytics in this version.

What happens when you tap Listen to flow

  1. The microphone feeds Apple's on-device speech recognition (SpeechAnalyzer, iOS 26). No audio file is written.
  2. The recognized words stay in the phone's memory until you tap Stop.
  3. ClassStamp finds the pose names in those words and builds the flow: poses, order, sides, phases, times and style.
  4. The words are then discarded. Only the flow is saved, on your phone.

The first time you listen, Apple may download its own English speech model to your phone. That download is between your phone and Apple and includes nothing you recorded.

Your iPhone may include app data in its own iCloud or computer backups, depending on your backup settings. We never see those backups.

Sharing

Nothing leaves your phone unless you share it. When you tap Share card or Copy as text, you choose the app and the people who receive the image or text, and their terms apply from there. The card shows the flow only, never the words heard.

Other people's voices

ClassStamp may hear other people in the room. Their words are processed the same way as the teacher's, on the phone, and are discarded. Only pose names become part of the flow.

Permission to record

Whether you may record a class depends on the place, the teacher and local law. You are responsible for getting any permission that applies before you tap the button. See the Terms of Use.

Data we collect

None. We have no server for ClassStamp, no analytics, no advertising and no advertising identifiers. App Store privacy label: Data Not Collected. Apple may show us aggregate, anonymous App Store statistics, such as downloads, and crash reports from people who chose to share them with developers.

Children

ClassStamp is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Your choices

Delete a flow from your history, or delete the app to remove everything. Turn microphone access off any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone.

Email you send us

If you email us, we receive your address and message and use them only to reply and to improve ClassStamp. We do not sell or share them.

Changes

If a later version adds accounts, sync or analytics, this policy will change before that version ships, and the app will ask before anything new leaves your phone. The date at the top shows the latest version.
